"So... You guys wanna go steal some multiple-month-old comic books?" Star asks as you all walk along the cracked footpath. 
Heart raises her eyebrow.
"No." She says.
She turns to you.
"Diamond, how has your wing binder been treating you?" She asks.
"It's a bit uncomfortable, but I don't really mind." You say.
"In what way?"
"It's kinda bulky," You explain, "And the fabric is a bit itchy... But it's far from bad."
"Ah, yeah, sorry about that! I'll work on improving this prototype." Heart says, "Thanks for testing it out for me, though."
You nod.
"What CAN we steal, then?" Star asks.
Heart walks over and picks up a pebble from beside the footpath, and holds it out for Star.
"This." She says.
Star frowns.
"Looks like SOMEONE poured smoked paprika on their cereal this morning." Star says quietly to you, throwing the pebble away when Heart isn't looking. You're not sure whether you should laugh.

You all sit down on the footpath outside the corner store. You quietly eat a bag of strangely-flavoured chips while Star and Heart talk.
"Well... My band's been planning another concert." Star says.
"So soon?" Heart asks.
"I wanna integrate my wings into my costume!" Star says.
"Well, do Sine and Saw know about them?" Heart asks, "I just think unveiling them during the concert could startle them."
"That's why it would be cool!" Star says.
"It could disrupt their playing." Heart suggests.
"Oh well!" Star says, laughing and patting her on the shoulder, "Ah, I pull stuff like this all the time, so they would probably assume they're made out of wires and cellophane."
"That's true..." Heart says.

You can't help but wonder whether she's reminiscing on the 0.5 concert that Precious Memories did late last year.

"You're thinking about the 0.5 white heron costume," Star says, "Aren't you?"
"How can I not?" Heart laughs, "It was ridiculous! And you had sewn the entire thing by hand, right?"
"I thought the pyramid costume was better." Star says.
"It didn't hold a CANDLE to the heron!" Heart says.
"I spent WAY too long sewing it, though." Star says, "That's the real reason why my costumes are so much more simple now."
"They're still pretty garish." You chime in, "That scrapped costume you showed us looked like something Chiyumi Ten would wear!"
"Wonder why..." Star says, "Perhaps it's because she's my biggest inspiration?"
"Wait, who are you talking about?" Heart laughs.
"We gotta watch through Pan Pon VIDEO Pin sometime." Star says, "You'll enjoy it."


"Should I make a website for Precious Memories updates?" Star asks.
"Don't bother." Heart says, "I've tried before, but the library computer is really slow, and the internet sucks."
"I don't use that computer very much," You say, "Flower told me a while ago that the government cares more about checking to see if the stream is clean, than supplying us with reliable electricity."
"That sounds about right..." Heart says.
"Argh... Screw them!" Star yells.
She sighs angrily.
"Why the hell do they think we're a waste of resources?" She asks.
"Star, we've brought this up far too much over the years." Heart says. 
She seems to be trying to think of what to say next, but she has nothing. 
"Um... Well..." You stammer, "How about we check in with Flower today?"
"Y-Yeah." Heart says, "That's... That sounds good."
