as you can probably tell, this is my diary page! I decided to start a new one because my old one was an absolute mess hehe!! anyway, I'll write about all sorts of stuff in here, and hopefully the pieces of tape and hot glue holding this page together won't break lol!

(Newer entries r closer to the bottom, btw!)

LOOK LOOK LOOK! yesterday i made this cute little phone charm and i rlly love it!!! i used 2 have a few more but i have a tendency to idly fiddle with stuff like that, so i think i broke them all ;_;

ALSO!! a few days ago i went 2 a paper plus, and the one near me sells sylvanian families (or "calico critters"), so i bought a tiny little bed as well as the marshmallow mouse family!! they have little pink hearts on their ears, and they're my fav family ever so im so happy to have found them! :D heres them hanging out in the dollhouse i got for christmas:

hehe i rlly love taking crusty webcam photos!! it adds to the old web ~aesthetic~, but its also just me being impatient and lazy because iphones automatically save photos as HEIC files, and it takes way too long to convert those to pngs to put on my website... yeah taking photos with my laptop is just easier hehe

school's also starting again in about a week (ㅠ﹏ㅠ) and i have no clue what 2 do on my first day!! nobodys told me anything but my schedule, so i dont know where to put my bag or what type of stuff to bring with me to classes. its going 2 be a disaster, but im also kinda excited about it. i bought lots of cute keychains for my school bag over the holidays, and i have a super cute my melody pencilcase, so at least ill be suffering in style nah its not going 2 be that bad rofl

28/1/2023
guess who just got a haircut!!! i don't rlly like showing pics of my face online, so i cant show u how it looks, but just know it looks super cute hehe!
i'm feeling pretty happy today, not only because of my new haircut, but also because murder drones episode 3 was announced!! im a huge fan of murder drones, i love it sooo much, so im obviously very excited!!! i wish i could get an N plushie because he's probably one of my favourite characters EVER, but its so difficult 2 get things to ship to new zealand right now... it kinda sucks.

ive also been researching stuff about flip phones, and now i rlly want one for my birthday because you can buy them for like $100! i already have an iphone but i rlly love flip phones and i think theyre rlly cute!! i might ask my mum for one, but she'll probably say no...

anyway, ill be spending the last few days of the summer holidays happily listening to Cherry Wine by Melting Holidays, reading Wings of Fire... and probably updating my website some more lolz!!

4/2/2023
hey~! just now i read through chapter 1 of chocomimi and i rlly loved it!! ♡(◕ᗜ◕✿) its super cute and i wish more of it was translated because i wanna read more of it! but i DID find a website with pretty good quality scans of it in japanese, so i might try 2 translate more chapters of it myself some other time...
quick update on the flip phone situation: my mum said that she could PROBABLY get it for me!!! i told her about all of the stuff it can do besides calling ppl (like playing music n taking photos) and yeah! she said she might be able 2 get it!(。>‿‿<。 )

oh and yeah... school... (・へ・) it started again, on the 2nd (on a thursday, for some reason???), and honestly it wasnt even that bad! at least, im not dreading going back 2 school on monday, so that's good lol!

14/2/2023
yay! i got this super cute pen because i did vry good in science (🖒^^)🖒
my mum and i were discussing birthday presents for me, since she can't rlly get me the flip phone i want (i dont remember what was wrong though). we talked a bit about how there r taiko no tatsujin games on the nintendo switch, and how you can get special drum-shaped controllers to play it, so there's a chance she might get one for me instead of a flip phone

i also might be starting guitar lessons soon!!! im super excited!

23/2/2023
this afternoon my brother and i got our DVD player working again!! i dont actually own many DVDs, but the 1 i do have is of 2 episodes of My Little Pony 'n Friends (from the 80's). admittedly, i didnt watch both episodes since theyre so long, but i watched the first 1 all the way through. it was pretty nice!
i rlly like the art style of the old show. i luv the bright colours of Friendship Is Magic, but the pretty pastels in My Little Pony 'n Friends are lovely, too.

yesterday was super awesome because i found 2 ppl who r fans of kidorikko! first, neocities user @glittertown commented on my site, and said that they were a fan of kidorikko as well as kamikaze girls, and that they liked my site too, and that made me vry happy i also found out about neocities user @cvrsed's kidorikko shrine, and it was super cool!!

i dont want this entry 2 be too long, but i want to talk about jun togawa's music a bit! so, we all know her as the person who sang suki suki daisuki, and i love that song, too, but i wasn't ever sold on the rest of her music. well, that changed yesterday, when i watched her live performance of tamahime sama. and, no, it wasn't the one where she danced awkwardly in a dragonfly costume, either. it was this one! yes, i know what the lyrics are about but i think the way she dances is so weird and so cool, and she sounds rlly great, too!!

2/3/2023
hello!! today was pretty great. i walked down 2 the river near my house, and filled up a container with blackberries from the various blackberry bushes there are there. i ate a few of them, but i also made smoothies with the rest of them! they turned out vry good

my mum and i were talking about stuff, and she's trying 2 find a music tutor for me because i rlly want to learn how 2 play the bass!! my mum said that maybe i could try out guitar first, since there are definitely people near me who teach guitar, but not bass, and that they seem similar enough. idk. she's still thinking about it.

8/3/2023
hi there!! i was meaning to write in here a lil earlier but i guess ive just been a bit busy hehe! anyway, during the weekend i made custard squares n blackberry and apple crumble! they were both vry good, if ur wondering!! but i rlly want 2 bake more stuff next weekend, too!

i haven't rlly mentioned it anywhere but ive been playing a LOT of Persona 4 Golden recently. i got it for my switch at the vry end of last month bc it was on sale or something, and since then ive spent over 30 hours playing it ROFL! admittedly, i am playing through it on easy mode, but i think thats fine. i'm not rlly someone who plays a lot of rpgs anyway, and i had heard beforehand that the combat was kinda complicated/confusing (but its not rlly!!)

ive been working on a new album recently, too! i plan to spend more time working on it than i have with my previous albums, but we'll see. come to think of it, i should probably get back to working on my "music downloads" pages...

14/3/2023
hey! for the past few days ive been sick :( not with covid thankfully, just a cold, but it was still pretty horrible
i DID purchase Hatsune Miku Jigsaw Puzzle on my switch, and ive been slowly making my way through the list of 39 puzzles! its... certainly a purchase i only would have made while sick, but hey, its vry cute, and it gave me something 2 do! (also who doesnt luv Miku n her friends )

you wanna know what my most recent obsession is? cute, vintage, porcelain figurines!!! i spend a bit of time on pinterest here n there, and its begun to notice that i love tacky n kitschy pastel vintage stuff, and porcelain figurines r a huge part of that. in particular, i luv Precious Moments figurines soooo much! the art style, in particular the way that characters' faces look, r so adorable 2 me!
they seem to be kinda popular, or they at least used to be, since there's still an online store for them. i figured that they might only ship to places in america, though, so i checked on ebay as well, but the shipping prices on there r way too high...
then i thought, ALTHOUGH, since they seem fairly popular, i MIGHT be able 2 find some in nz second-hand stores instead. and if they dont have them, then they might at least have some other figurines i might like for sale at said second-hand stores!

anyway, i think thats enough insane person ramblings about porcelain figures for 1 diary entry...

my birthday is also coming up soon!! the 21st, to be exact, only 7 days away! im vry excited abt it. im not rlly 1 to do crazy fun things or whatevr for my birthday. i just like hanging out at home, maybe going out for lunch somewhere nice, and i expect 2 do the same this year.

21/3/2023
today was my birthday!!! it was vry good. my school was actually closed 2day because of heavy rain, so i got the day off, too!

i did actually get a flip phone for my birthday: the one and only Nokia 2660 Flip!!!! it's absolutely perfect, because it has everything i wanted!! an mp3 player, a way to take photos, a couple of games, and a bunch of other cute lil features. i still need to purchase a sim card for it, but theyre not vry expensive. i'll get one soon.

i got to watch the 1996 Sonic OVA with my family this afternoon. i always have to watch movies by myself before i show them to other people, yes, even when i've seen them before, so i did watch it a few days ago, too, but it was still nice watching it with my family

im also currently downloading the Moon remaster on my nintendo switch! i rlly like ThorHighHeels' videos, and i'm pretty sure Moon was featured in one of them. he said some great stuff about the game, so i though i might try it out myself!! i luv weird and experimental games, especially ones with interesting art styles, so im vry excited for it!

anyway, 2day was pretty great!! it makes me super happy to see so many ppl on neocities saying happy birthday 2 me, as well. thank you all

27/3/2023
! yesterday i uploaded a new video 2 my youtube channel that's all about Kidorikko (again!) and i think it turned out pretty good!! i felt like the pool of Kidorikko "fan content" (the thing that i made was just a compilation of clips from Kidorikko's "Pan Pon Video Pin", so idk if that qualifies lol), at least on youtube is incredibly shallow. i just wanna do my part

recently my mum got me my own tiny lil frying pan, so now i can make tiny lil omelettes that, or i can make tiny pancakes. i think it's cool.
my mum also offered to sew me some more clothes in the style that i like!!! she said that she thinks i have a very unique style, and that nothing for sale in stores these days rlly have things i want to wear. so, naturally, i designed a cute pink hoodie with (rlly adorable!) detachable bunny ears! n guess what? she said she could make it for me!!!!

yeah im rlly excited. its going 2 look super cute :)

ever since my last diary entry ive been playing Moon, like, every day!! i rlly didnt think id like it that much, but i do, n im vry happy about it. in particular, i think the translation is absolutely wonderful, the characters are all so varied, the use of claymation is rlly interesting, and i can go on and on. however, literally yesterday i came accross some shibuya-kei compilation album (one of those ones that features heaps of different artists) and, like, the top comment on it was about how one of the artists in it also made music for Moon. i checked, and it's true.

i guess thats another example of all of my favourite bits of media being connected lmao

28/3/2023
i dont tend 2 write stuff in here all too often, so its rare for there to be 2 diary entries that r only a day apart. HOWEVER. last night i found out that Sonic Frontiers had received an update some time recently. im not rlly "in the loop" when it comes to video game updates, even when it comes 2 my favourite game series EVER, so i think i found out about it from some reccomendation i received on youtube randomly. so i reinstalled the game, and i was pretty excited about all of the new stuff they added.
when i got to the new jukebox feature, i figured that it would just be of music from Sonic Frontiers, stuff like boss music, n stuff from cyberspace. im vry glad that wasnt the case!! as i was looking through all of the default songs in it, i was rlly surprised that songs like Mystic Ruin n Sonic Heroes were there. then came Wave Ocean. and by freaking SAND OASIS i was absolutely losing my mind.

was i being overdramatic? of course! but i was so surprised that Sega was fine with them including anything at all from Sonic & The Secret Rings, nevermind my favourite song from it!!!! n like, i dont even feel any nostalgia for that game! ive been a Sonic fan for maybe a year now, i havent even played Sonic & The Secret Rings, and i was STILL excited to see it there as one of the default songs!!

yeah im done talking abt Sand Oasis bye

9/4/2023
hey hey hey! 2day was Easter, so i got 2 eat lots of chocolate!! yummy! my family doesn't go to church or whatever on Easter, we just get a bunch of candy. it's cool.

i also went on a lil walk with my mum & a guest we have staying at our house. we got 2 see some pretty mountains, and i took sum pictures of it that u can see on my photos page!! after that we went to this rlly cool wildlife center!!! i got 2 see kiwi n tuatara, and even tho ive been there quite a few times before, it was still rlly awesome!

i also bought this rlly adorable plushie from the gift shop afterwards, and guess what brand it's made by... yeah thats right, my first Precious Memories product that i own is a plushie, NOT a porcelain figurine!! i know, its weird, but i was so excited to see it in a NZ gift shop! plus, i love the Precious Moments art style, and the style of eyes work rlly well on animal faces! his fur is rlly soft, too, and its such a nice colour.
i havent decided on a name for him yet, but his little preset name was "Smarty Fox". vry cute.

15/4/2023
im going 2 talk abt what happened yesterday before i talk abt 2day!
so, i went into town with my family, and i bought lots of cool stuff!! i got a Sonic PEZ dispenser and a pair of super cute socks from a candy store (its also a bit of a gift shop, so purchasing socks from there isn't that weird lol!). we had a super yummy lunch, and then we went to a second-hand store!! no, i didnt find any Precious Moments stuff, but i didnt rlly care, bc i found some other figurines that i love!!!

from left 2 right (bc its kinda hard 2 see lol), theres a super cute teddy bear holding a flower vase, a young girl holding a baby deer or cow (not too sure), a clown holding a carrot beside a rabbit in a hat, and a fluffy white bear in a cardboard gift bag, with a tag saying "Just 4 You".

(u can also click on them 2 see them in another tab, but the photos r still kinda blurry!)

im rlly like all of these, especially the silly clown with the rabbit! they were also all around 3-5 dollars each, which rlly surprised me, and they only cost me 13 dollars in total!
back to clowns, though, there was actually a strange amount of clown-themed stuff in that store, and i would have bought something else if i wasnt feeling kinda overwhelmed.

there were also 4 or 5 old-fashioned dolls sitting behind the window of the place, but i couldnt get 2 them vry easily. i figured theyd be pretty expensive, too; old dolls are the kinds of things ppl DO know the value of, but as i was leaving i noticed that at least 1 of the dolls was priced at only 6 dollars! i'll have to visit that store sometime again if i want to pick those dolls up.

we also got a new TV installed in our living room, so i got our old 1, n i was allowed to set it up in my room!! i also got to have our DVD player in my room, too, bc im the only 1 who rlly watches DVDs anymore rofl!
i moved an old bookshelf that we had in the hallway into my room, dusted it off, n set everything up! it was also in the corner of my room that all of my plushies had been in previously, so i just moved all of the plushies onto the shelves. i think it looks nice :)
(u can also see my new figurines sitting on the shelf below the TV!!)

okay, FINALLY onto stuff that happened 2day!

i got my hair dyed!! okay, not all of it, but i got a small section dyed bright red, and though its vry subtle, i rlly like it! wasnt sure abt it at first, but the thing that made me go "yeah, i want to do this!" is that i remembered Lammy (from Um Jammer Lammy) had red hair. literally.
we're also going to go into (a different) town sometime next week, n im excited 2 visit more second-hand stores if there's enough time. i also DESPERATELY need to buy a new sim card for my flip-phone, so i think ill be able 2 there.

ok this entry is getting long enough. bye-bye!!

19/4/2023
2day was vry lovely. we went 2 town again, a different town than last time, of course, and i bought lots of nice things :)
we went 2 a Paper Plus so that i could spend a $50 voucher i had received for my birthday a few months ago. as we all know, this Paper Plus sells Sylvanian Families, so I bought:

after that we went to The Warehouse, and i bought:

my mum also bought me a pair of cute red sneakers and a vry soft blanket <3

i then managed to visit the second-hand store that i visited last week, and i was about to buy one of the pretty dolls in the window when i realised that i kinda didnt like how their faces looked... that was fine, though, bc i looked through the DVD section, something that i didnt do last time, and i found a DVD of the mlp Equestria Girls movie!!! i havent watched it before, but i kinda had to get it, y'know? its a bit scratched, no big scratches or anything, but there are lots of tiny lil scratches all over it, so i hope my DVD player doesnt freak out ROFL!! its the risk u gotta take when buying DVDs these days...
it seems like someone had offloaded their entire mlp DVD collection there, actually. there were about 5-10 DVDs of individual episodes, and i kinda freaked out when i saw it all LOL! each one was only $3 each, so i was tempted to buy more, but they were all episode names i didnt rlly recognise (ive only watched seasons 1 & 2 lol, i need to watch more sometime) and i didnt want to buy DVDs of them if i didnt know what they would be about.

ok bye

1/5/2023
sorry for not writing in here sooner!! recently a lot of bad stuff has happened (most of which id like 2 keep private, if im being perfectly honest), and though ive still been updating my website, i havent rlly been thinking about writing in my silly web diary.

so! what have i been up to?? well, school started again last week... y'know, schools never as bad as i think its going 2 be, is it? im vry excited, actually, bc ive managed 2 get a main role in my schools theater production!! yippee! there werent any auditions or whatevr, which was kinda strange, but im sure its going 2 be cool anyway!

thanks to a... certain streamer... ive been super obsessed with golf games recently!!! ive never played actual golf IRL, the closest ive gotten 2 that is playing minigolf with my family, but i think that golf video games r kinda cute! theres a fun feeling that so many golf games give off, because ur always outside, its usually pretty sunny, theres nice music, u can hear lil birds chirping... its just nice!! so, of course, i had to play the only golf game that we own: Everybody's Golf VR!

its such a cute game!! both of the unlockable caddies r rlly sweet, (there are 2 more that are available to purchase, for like, real money, but like... nah) the 3 different courses were very cool, especially the one with DINOSAURS, and the motion controls are pretty freakin good, dude!
unfortunately, i played it for like 2 to 3 hours yesterday (with breaks, dont worry!) but it made my arms REALLY sore, and they still are 2day. kinda sucks, but im sure ill be feeling better in a few days...

21/5/2023
i watched a rlly great video about Tamagotchi stuff 2day and now i rlly want to buy a Tamagotchi with a pretty coloured screen... i luv the Tamagotchi Meets in particular. they have super nice shells, too. theyre all vry expensive though, but i found a gen 1 Tamagotchi that's... available for preorder... but it has a rlly nice shell. im definitely going 2 get soon!!!

im also vry excited for June to come around!!! not only will it be pride month, but theres a whole lot of videogame related stuff coming out! Sonic Origins Plus is coming out, which means that ill be able 2 play as Amy Rose (im incredibly excited!!!!!!!!), and theres an update for Sonic Frontiers, too. both are coming out on the 23rd (Sonic's birthday).
BIRDIE WING -Golf Girl's Story- is also planned to release on the 15th. i know its based on an anime, but in the games decription it specifically said that it was a retelling of said anime, so the reason why i havent watched it yet is because i want to experience the story in game form instead. it looks cute though

4/6/2023
uh... so on friday, my brother traded a few PS4 games away in order 2 get an Xbox 360 from his friend. it was pretty sketchy, but it was from someone who we knew pretty well, and he didnt use it anymore. so now we own an Xbox 360! yippee!

of course, i immediately bought Sonic '06 for it. going in, i knew a lot about the game, and i felt like i wasnt going to have much fun with it, but honestly? loading into the silly lil town in Soleanna, and playing through Wave Ocean was probably the happiest time ive had with a Sonic game! but, currently, im having a hard time with Knuckles' segment in Flame Core. u know the one.
when i let my brother, and then my mum play it, though, they were both having a rlly tough time with it...

i also bought Sonic The Fighters, and i got through the entirety of the arcade mode rlly quickly! its a vry mindless game, where spamming the same attack over and over is a perfectly acceptable strategy, so it was kinda perfect for me, bc i find a lot of fighting games vry difficult. ill have to get another controller so i can play it with a friend!

oh, also! there was a big power surge a few months ago that fried a few of our electronics, and the computer that i played Sonic Adventure 1 & 2 was destroyed, too. however, i found out that i can also get those games on the 360, so i will sometime later.

so forget about BIRDIE WING! forget about getting a tamagotchi! ive got some Sonic games 2 buy!

14/6/2023
just a few days ago i ordered a copy of Shadow The Hedgehog for the original Xbox, since it's available on the Xbox 360's backwards-compatability thing! i know it's a bad game, but it's shadow, so who cares!!
i also completed shadow's story in Sonic '06 just yesterday, and im close to completeing sonic's story, too. the reason im not nearly as far into silver's story, though, is because of the ball puzzle... but im going to attempt the glitch where he just phases through the wall and you dont have to complete the puzzle :)
its definitely become one of my favourite games, though. despite the fact that it is very jank, ive had SO much fun playing it. i think the reason why people dont like Sonic '06 on their first play through is because they dont know what to expect. but ive spent months learning about this game, and i know how the mach speed segments work, i know how most of the bosses function, and i know how to get the wall-running segments in flame core to work properly. the parts of the game where i wasnt having fun was in the levels and boss fights i hadnt seen before, and i didnt immediately know how they functioned.

BUT ENOUGH ABOUT HEDGEHOGS!!!

maybe a week or 2 ago i got accepted into this band camp thing that's happening... later this year! im not going to tell u when or where its happening out of fear of doxxing myself or something, but im vry excited about it!! im going 2 ask if we're allowed to do covers of songs (we probably will be!) bc im terrible at writing lyrics and i can only rlly sing well in Japanese... yeah i probably dont deserve 2 be going to it, do i?

20/6/2023
im going up 2 the north island in a few weeks! yippee!!! almost all of my extended family lives in the north island (we literally moved to the south island because property is way cheaper here!) so im excited to see them, and im excited to go shopping, because you have to drive for hours to get anywhere down here, and in the north island, you dont!
im going 2 have to take a plane up north, but i was worried i would get bored. however, ive started playing through the original Shining Force, and im having a great time with it, so im going to play it a lot during any free time i have. im playing it on my switch, so if i somehow finish it, ill also have access to Shining Force 2 as well.
honestly, a lot of 80's and 90's RPGs have a rlly hostile and obtuse feeling to them, at least to me, so im glad to have found one that i enjoy!! its vry slow paced, and i dont have a way to speed up gameplay, but its not, like, Innocent Tears slow, so i'll manage. vry cute characters, too; Khris, Hans and Tao are probably my favourites, even though they definitely arent my favourite in battle...

my mum also bought me a pair of shoes from Hot Chocolate Designs, and they were delivered to us vry quickly!! i got a pair of shoes called "Be Mine", bc i love the lil illustrations on them, and theyre absolutely adorable!!! my mum also got a different pair of shoes for her, and she rlly loves them too, so we might have to get some more.

9/7/2023
im not going 2 say its been a long time since ive said anything in here, since i say that every time. im currently in the north island, staying at my grandmother's place. im just going 2 say it... i dont like her vry much. neither does the rest of my immediate family. but i think... maybe tomorrow (?) i'll go to visit my other grandmother (heheh that rhymes) and im feeling much more excited about that.

while ive been staying here we went to a couple second-hand stores. most of them did have nice figurines for sale, but because they were either (A.) not very nice looking/would not fit with the other figurines i own or (B.) ludicrously expensive for what they were, i didn't pick any up. one of the stores had a huge CD rack that i looked through for quite some time, but there wasn't anything i was interested in, and another store had some beautiful dolls out the front, but they would have been hard to transport.
also, i found a VHS for sale at one of the stores. for 35 bucks. with all of the cables n stuff.
my dumbass, though, DID NOT GET IT. here's why:
i flew to the north island. by plane. and between my brother and i, we only have 2 bags. if you put aside how difficult it would be to package up the damn thing, and make sure im actually allowed to bring it on the plane, im not sure we'd have enough room in the bag for it at all. so, with tears in my eyes (not literally lol) i left it behind for someone else to bring home. sigh...

okay, i'll stop talking about what i didn't buy, and i'll start talking about what i did buy. which... happens 2 be just one thing... a copy of Balan Wonderworld for the PS4.
i'm not going 2 lie, ive been wanting to play this game for a long time, but since my switch is my primary game console, at least for the moment, i never got it because i COULD NOT justify spending, like, 60 bucks for a game that was probably going to give me a headache in just a few hours. but, at just 10 dollars, im not regretting my decision, and im kinda looking forward to that headache, y'know? im going 2 play this game on my brother's PS4 when we get home.

oh i also went to an arcade and played Wangan Midnight 5 (i believe) with my brother. pretty fun game, pretty skung visuals. i also wanted to play Time Crisis 5 since it was the only game there that i recognised the name of, but there were 2 ppl playing it the ENTIRE time.
that place SUCKED. DO NOT go to Motion Entertainment Rotorua if you just want to play arcade games. go to... idk, Timezone Riccarton in Christchurch. its just as loud, and i caught covid there (LMAO), but at least they have Taiko No Tatsujin and actual WINDOWS to see OUTSIDE!!!

30/7/2023

hai there!! ive been feeling vry happy recently. i feel like my room is almost exactly how i want it to be... almost! i NEED new, cuter curtains, since my current ones r super ugly... i want to make my own ones, or maybe ask my mum to. its just that you need a bunch of fabric, and its probably vry expensive :(
oh! y'know how i bought that DVD of Equestria Girls? well, i actually watched it on wednesday. it was vry cute, n im planning to visit the second-hand store that i got it from again, so that i can buy more DVDs! i have about $75 to spend, and the DVDs there are only $3 each!!! and as i mentioned in another entry, they have heaps of MLP DVDs there too, so i might just buy more of those hehe!
i also watched Equestria Girls: Rainbow Rocks online afterwards, since i had heard good things about that movie, too. it was also cute!!

i did visit another second-hand store that had opened recently in another town, and i bought this super cute bow necklace!!!! the colour definitely looks vry faded, but i kinda like how it looks anyway! will definitely be wearing this alongside some of my outfits in the future!!

i downloaded soooo much music for my flip-phone on saturday. it was mostly Serani Poji (I got Manamoon, One-Room Survival and Ochamekan!) as well as Many Many Sweets by MacDonald Duck Eclair (which is one of my favourite band names ever!!! n Many Many Sweets is such a unique EP!!), Girl Friend by Strawberry Machine, and a bunch of random songs by other artists. i have a huuuuuuge playlist on my phone for all of the cute music i have, n ive been listening 2 it non-stop! makes me super happy 2 sit in my cute room listening 2 cute music n working on my cute website!!

ive also been working on my ACNH island! of course, its super adorable n pink, and i plan to make a webpage all about it, with a dream address n lil description n everything!

what else? well, ive been fully embracing the cold weather with my artwork: ive been drawing lots of girls in cute Winter outfits! scarves, gloves, long socks, boots, long dresses... i dont like Winter vry much, but drawing girls in warm outfits makes me feel super cosy!! :)

1/8/2023

lil update: my mum has decided to purchase the fabric for my curtains, as long as i sew them!!!! im getting pink gingham fabric, which is only about $9 a metre! i wonder if i can buy some lace to sew onto the bottoms, and maybe some white ribbons to tie them when they're open... theyre going 2 look soooo cute!! ^_^

i also got out of doing P.E. with my class 2day, n i got to practice golf skills with my brother, instead, who's learning about golf for a school project! as someone who has only rlly played golf in VR, swinging an actual golf club felt vry natural 2 me!! n halfway through, my english teacher came out n gave us some tips! she thought we were being forced to play golf!! >_< but she was vry helpful.

oh and i rlly want 2 get a functioning PC so i can burn CDs again... i NEED to listen 2 Serani Poji or Melting Holidays on my Hello Kitty CD player!! its my prized posession! let me use it!!! lmao!

4/8/2023

This will have been the first diary entry i've written since HelloKittyMinigun reached 200 followers on Neocities!!!! Big thank u to everyone **♡( ⁎ᵕᴗᵕ⁎ )

every morning ive made a habit of putting on my lil red gloves before going out 2 wait for the bus, as its been dreadfully ❆cold❆ and rainy recently! there was a big thunderstorm just a few days ago, too, and while im not remotely afraid of lightning, i was worrying a bit about whether or not there would be a power-cut. funny, huh? i worry more about being able to use my electronics that i do my own life!! no, i certainly have other things 2 do without wifi or the ability to charge my laptop, n my life's been pretty fulfilling as of late, anyway!
but, going back to the cold and wet weather, i made a peculiar observation during my trip up to the north island:
why do all of these people let the cold and wet weather cancel all of their plans? its not like they dont have raincoats or umbrellas, and the stuff we were wanting to do mostly involved going to shops that are, well, indoors! and, like, they were all complaining about the awfully cold weather, but my brother and i were perfectly fine. granted, ive noticed that my sense of temperature is strangely "distant", i guess, but the temperature was nothing like what we have to deal with down here. but everyone just wanted 2 stay home, which absolutely sucked!!! (๑•̀д•́๑)

for some more positive updates: my mum had ordered me a wireless Hello Kitty desk lamp, and it came super quickly! i charged it up, and its currectly sitting in front of me on my desk!!! im not sure whether its official, there are things about it that seem official AND unofficial, but its cute nonetheless!! ヽ(*⌒∇⌒*)ノ

oh, at school we've been doing a lot of cooking recently. we made rice pudding (which is DEFINITELY not my thing, even when covered with cream, cinnamon n brown sugar...) n super cute, star-shaped, shortbread cookies!!! my teacher e-mailed me the recipe for the cookies, so i might try making them on my own this weekend! i have to see if we have any cookie-cutters in our kitchen, though... theyre probably at the back of some random drawer....。.:*☆

6/8/2023

i ended up making those cookies, n they turned out great!!! vry yummy :P n my family rlly enjoyed them too! i luv baking so much, mainly because i get 2 eat lots of sweet treats at the end!!

i also painted my nails!! theyre a light, glittery pink, subtle enough so that i dont get in trouble at school tomorrow, but theyre still pretty!!! ⌒°ʚ(ෆ❛ั ᴗ ❛ัʃƪ)ɞ♡°⌒ painting my nails has always made me vry happy... maybe its gender euphoria? its kinda in the same boat as putting blush or band-aids on ur fingers!

oh!! ok so for context for what im about 2 say, in my dads shed theres a lil second floor thing that i used to hang out in. i had brought a lot of my stuff out there to decorate the place, but i hadnt actually gone out there to bring much of my stuff back 2 my room when id stopped going out there.
well, 2day i did bring some stuff back! 2 plushies, a vry cute-looking hot-chocolate can, an angel windchime, n a lil sign that says "the princess sleeps here. do not disturb"!! i put the plushies on my bookshelf, hung the windchime by my window, n PAINSTAKINGLY tied the sign to the end of my bed using some lil bits of string. it looks super cute, though! (。・ω・。)

i also bought PaRappa The Rapper Remastered 2day, and i went into it expecting a more difficult and therefore annoying game, but no! this game rocks, actually. ive never played it before 2day, but i HAVE played a lot of PaRappa The Rapper 2, so i ended up completeing all of the levels on my first try, since i had so much practice! (yes, even the chicken level! i was so surprised when i completed it! (。>‿‿<。 )) getting "cool" mode is so much easier, too! ive only completed Hair Scare in PaRappa 2 on cool mode, but in PaRappa 1, after owning the game for mere hours, ive completed every level, except for the chicken level, on cool mode! ( ´ ▽ ` )b

i havent mentioned it much at all on my website, but im a HUGE PaRappa The Rapper fan!! (+`∀´)b i made my own version of Lammy's t-shirt IRL, for crying out loud! and recently ive gotten vry good at PaRappa 2, after, like, YEARS of not having memorised the layout of PlayStation face-buttons, which prevented me from actually playing the game. (´;д;`) i started playing on easy mode, and i kept playing through on normal mode for every hat colour. now i have all the buttons memorised, and im considering hunting down a PS3 so i can play Um Jammer Lammy, since that one's the most difficult out of the series. i feel like i could do it!!! ヽ(*⌒∇⌒*)ノ

17/8/2023

been listening 2 music out loud while ive been working on my site recently, and its what im currently doing, too! i often just listen to music with headphones, but its kinda fun 2 be able 2 sing along sometimes!!

last week i made omurice in cooking class!! we got 2 choose what we wanted 2 make, so while other ppl made pancakes, biscuits, and whatever the heck else, i was making オムライス!! n honestly, it was hard work! not because of the cooking part, or rlly the "being on my own and not in a group" part, but because i didn't have a recipe right in front of me, so i had 2 ask my teacher what 2 do next every, oh idk, 5 minutes?! (๑•̀д•́๑)
it turned out pretty good, though!!! the combination of ketchup and soy sauce was intrigueing (no im not going to spellcheck that word) at first, but it was vry nice, actually! i loosely followed this great recipe, but i ended up changing a few things. i also forgot that it made 2 servings, so i ate one n gave the other 2 my brother, who also enjoyed it!
i didnt get any photos of it, but it didn't look particularly great or anything. tasted great, though!!! (ෆ˙ᵕ˙ෆ)♡

2day, though, i made nachoes! in a group this time, n thankfully one made up of ppl who actually did stuff!! anyway, im not a huge fan of nachoes, i find that the way other ppl make them always tastes a bit strange... but the nachoes we made 2day were probably the best that i've ever had!!! ( ✧Д✧) afterwards we had heaps of time left, so while other ppl made pancakes, i cleaned n dried lots of dishes, since i had literally nothing else 2 do! some ppl who were making pancakes made me one with lots of sprinkles on it! yum!! (ˆ ڡ ˆ)

i went 2 a second-hand store on saturday n i bought a rlly cute platter thing!(*^^*) its got pink edges n illustrations of colourful cupcakes on it, n its super adorable!!! its currently on my desk, holding up my CD player & my tiny lil figures of Fluttershy n Twilight Sparkle ♡
i still have about $80 left from going up north, so i want 2 buy lots more DVDs from another second-hand store (the one i got the Equestria Girls DVD from!!) since theyre all vry cheap. i luv DVDs, n even though most ppl probably think nothing of it, i think its so magical 2 be able 2 hold a movie or an episode of a TV show in my hands!!! n theres a special feeling that comes from watching DVDs that streaming services can never replace. like, i may be able 2 watch whatever i want, whenever i want, for the low low price of nothing, but its just kinda nice 2 watch DVDs, y'know? (´͈ ᵕ `͈ )

26/8/2023

2day i FINALLY got 2 go into town and 2 that second-hand store!!! however, it seemed like they had moved a lot of stuff around since i'd been there last, and all of the MLP DVDs were gone. ;_; so i'll have 2 look elsewhere for DVDs...
it was ok though, because i went 2 some other stores, too! i found a vry cute lil figurine at a market we went to, it's a little girl making a swingset for her teddybear <3

i went to a sweet shop n bought PEZ dispensers of Funshine Bear & Share Bear, to go along with my Cheer Bear one!!
n on our way home, we stopped at a craft shop in another town, and i bought this lovely porcelain doll!!
she's called Laura (which is a very sweet name!) and is apparently part of "The Classique Collection". never heard of it, but i'm not rlly an avid collector of porcelain dolls, so why would i have?
anyway, i DID take her out of her box, but only because it was pretty damaged and dusty, and there was a big lable on the front that covered most of her gorgeous dress!! she's vry pretty, with her long brown hair tied in plaits! i especially love her outfit; i quite like the colour red, and in addition 2 her dress, she also wears a coat, tied at the front with ribbon, and a cute pair of white boots!! she also has that hat... i think it's a bit ugly, but her hair underneath is kinda messy, so i'll leave it on for now.
and guess how much money she cost me! sixteen dollars!!! that's pretty awesome.

we also went to a cool lil place where we saw a bunch of fish & kiwi! i took lots of videos, so edited some of them together:

14/9/2023

hey hey hey!! its been a bit! at first i was feeling too lazy to update this, but then lots of stuff happened n i felt like this diary entry would be super long! we'll see...
so, both of my parents have been suffering from some pretty rough health issues over the past year, and while i won't specify too much (they deserve their privacy!) they have both had surgery done, and are already feeling better! they still need to go to appointments n stuff, but that's fine.
before we were going to pick my mum up from the train station a few weeks ago, we went to the warehouse... and i found a bunch of classic-style MLP toys!!!! how did i not know about these?? i picked up Lickety-Split, because she's cute n pink, n looks nice in my room! i would have bought some others (Tootsie and Posey were there, too) but they were, like, 30 bucks each! yikes!! but Lickety-Split was worth it. she's currently sitting on my dressing table. (but no pictures because my flip-phone needs updating so it can take pictures again... but that means that i have to feed it another $10...)
we also ordered a bunch of stuff online, and it all got delivered a while ago! i got that pink cover thing that goes over computer monitors, y'know, the one with the bear ears? i also got a heap of cute stickers, and... drumroll please... i got legwarmers!!! yes, i am now a legwarmers person. they're just so cute n comfy, n they're actually pretty warm!
but remember, folks! i wear legwarmers because they're cute, not because of tiktok. i have been tiktok-free for over a year now, and my mental health has improved tremendously!!

anyway, my great-grandparents stayed at our house a day ago, while on one of their big holidays around the south island in their campervan. it was nice talking to them again, and they brought us lots of candy, orange juice, and lots more!!! i luv sweet things, so im going 2 be pretty happy for a long time!

one more thing! i now have wi-fi in my room!! finally! it's not that i wasn't allowed to connect to the wi-fi in my room, but because it just didn't reach that far! (i live in a big house LOL!) so i watched But I'm A Cheerleader, because i've been wanting to for a while, and damn did i love it!! it's vry funny but also super beautiful, too? i though the ending was super adorable. i feel like i need to watch it a second time, because i just love it so much! maybe as much as Kamikaze Girls, which is my absolute favourite movie!!!
in addition, i've been watching whatever random 80's or 90's OVAs i find that seem interesting! i watched the 1st Project A-Ko OVA, then proceeded to watch the 2nd, 3rd and 4th all in one sitting!! i'm saving Project A-Ko: Uncivil Wars until later because at that point i felt kinda burnt out of Project A-Ko... i also had to watch Butt Attack Punisher Girl Gautaman. like, not only does it have an amazing title, it's also a Yuri anime, and those actually are not very common to come accross! i genuinely rlly liked it, even though it made me feel kinda uncomfortable during some moments? but i did some fanart of it that u can see on my art page :)

2/10/2023

hello! so, i went 2 that bandcamp thing and... i kinda hated it. it was rlly overwhelming n stressful, n even though i got 2 sing two of my fav songs by Kidorikko, and im vry proud of myself for that, i would never go to another camp like that one lol! i cried WAY too much...
i dont want 2 fill this diary page with awful stuff, though, so im just not going 2 talk about it!!

onto some good stuff: ive suddenly had the urge to watch a bunch of movies recently, which is weird because im not rlly the type of person who just watches movies on a whim. i watch plenty of multiple-hour-long videos on YouTube, sure, but those r vry different. i spent maybe an hour looking for a rlly obscure movie from 2005 simply called "Tenshi", because it seemed cute, n its lead actress was Kyoko Fukada. y'know, the same lady who played Momoko in Kamikaze Girls? Tenshi was a pain to look for, because when i wasn't getting pages about Angel's Egg, I was getting pages about Bludgeoning Angel Dokuro-Chan, and those r 2 anime that i have no interest in watching. LOL! yesterday morning, though, i had the idea 2 search it up on archive.org, and i found it, but geez! why is archive's search function so busted, and why are the pages on archive for stuff like movies unlisted on google?
ANYWAY, i enjoyed Tenshi a lot!! super cute film, very pretty, and one that i'd consider downloading onto my mysterious USB drive's movie folder... IF it had hard-coded subs! it's interesting 2 see how much the lives of characters in Tenshi are woven together in weird ways; at first everything n everyone feels detached but by the end it all makes sense. also, a small chunk of the movie takes place in a Sylvanian Families themed family restaurant, and if that's still around today, i NEED 2 visit it sometime!!!!
u can also hear more about the movies n shows i watch on my media log page! (it has a super cute layout that im vry proud of, so check it out sometime!! please!)

21/10/2023

hey hey hey!! i just went for a walk down to the river near my house, and i may or may not have participated in the criminal act of vandalism... by drawing cute girls on random surfaces... but we dont gotta talk about that!!!
yesterday there was some big event going on at school, i dont even know what, but it was boring n my parents brought me home 2 hours early. i managed to grab my maths book before we left, though, because i do a lot of random drawings in it (because im always vry bored, n my teacher doesnt rlly notice). ive taken photos of said drawings 2day, n im going 2 change my "art" page on my site so that it includes traditional art, too, because i do a lot more traditional art than digital these days!
& overall, this month has been pretty productive website-wise, n im glad!!

ah, right... so school has been incredibly boring recently, n my parents n teachers, & even ppl who dont even know me personally, r vry concerned about me because i always look vry sad. but like, i dont know how 2 tell you this, but EVERYONE hates school, man!! my parents r also urging me to drop P.E. altogether next year and have my own *special timetable*, different from everyone else in my year, but i dont think i would be able to cope going into a class full of kids who r 2 years older than me, even for just a couple hours a week... i think i would die lol... n they want me to start doing some lessons online, like, say, learning a language, or taking art or music classes, but i hate fully online learning SO much, especially if its primarily over video calls.
basically, im vry conflicted about what im going 2 do next year! yippee!!

oh, and one last thing!! i luv halloween, but my family n i havent been going trick-or-treating for a few years, (mainly because we're far away from any towns) so we're planning 2 just watch a bunch of scary movies at home, n im excited for that :)

3/11/2023

one of my dreams have come true!!! i'm currently listening to 'My Star' by Sonic Coaster Pop, which is part of a mix CD i burned on our very strange computer!! i legitimately thought that it was incapable of recognising CDs, because we got it from a teacher at school that just had TOO many garbage PCs lying around, and i figured that it had a bunch of limitations due to it being a school computer. i guess not, though!! i've burned 2 CDs: one that's just Melting Holidays songs, (i almost managed to fit 'Cherry Wine', 'Seven Favourites' AND 'Pop Go The Happy Tune' onto one 80min CD, but had to leave out 'I Can Fly' and 'Innerflight',) and the aforementioned mix CD that i've called my 'Sugary Sweet Shibuya-Kei Mix', with CAPSULE, SOCOPO, Dahlia, Yukari Fresh, and SO much Serani Poji!!!!! i finally get to listen to my fav music on my Hello Kitty CD player :)
ive been meaning 2 rewatch 'Barbie In A Fashion Fairytale' (my fav Barbie movie!!) because i found a bunch of my old DVDs in our attic!!! i put together a cute page for my collections a lil while ago, n i added all of those DVDs to it. i luv DVDs, n im hoping i can ask my grandma for some DVDs for my birthday next year, because JB Hi-Fi actually sells quite a lot of movies n shows on DVD, including anime! thinking about asking her for either 'Show By Rock!!' season 1 (ive only watched, like, 1 episode, but it seems super cute, n owning a DVD would give me more incentive to check it out) or 'Yuru Yuri' season 2 (they only have season 2 for some reason, and while im pretty sure ive seen all of it, i quite like Yuru Yuri anyway, n i wouldnt mind owning some of it on DVD).

i randomly found a replacement battery, so ive been taking care of a gen 1 tamagotchi again!!! this time, it's with my old one that i got last year, which has a black shell with purple flames on it!! i rlly enjoy taking care of a tamagotchi, i think they manage to be cute n charming even though they're so small and low on pixels! the reason why i have more than 1 despite them being functionally the same thing is because there are so many different shell designs for them!!!! i have my eye on a few more designs, and i would want to order them sooner if they weren't so expensive ;_; maybe i'll try 2 save up, but video games have my purse in a tight grip at the moment, so im not sure if that'll be possible! lol!!

just 2 end this off, ive also been playing a lot of Pokemon GO recently!! i know, mobile games r the root of all evil, but i like pokemon, and i dont have enough money 2 buy any mainline games, so this is the best ive got, unfortunately. i used to play this game years n years ago, n i remember having so much fun with my family as we drove around town, spinning pokestops and battling at gyms. its such a weird way to adapt a pokemon game's elements into an ongoing mobile game, but its pretty well-balanced, n its also hilarious how little its changed since i played it years ago! the models for pokemon r great, but the models for humans are so ugly, man! and, as a big fan of ACNH (a game with MANY different clothing options to choose from) there are NOT enough clothing items in Pokemon GO!
i have nothing but the happiest feelings towards this game, though, because it's got such a simple n cute energy!! the game itself doesn't need to make u feel surrounded by other ppl because YOU'RE the one doing that in real life, playing alongside friends n family! its not a great game, but its fun :)

18/11/2023

hey there!! ive spent this afternoon listening to midwest emo music, (shoutout to Super Magnificent Action Trio!! they rock!) and looking through old photos and emails i sent to friends, like, five years ago, like the sad little person i am. but i dont have to be lonely for too much longer, because there's a new girl at my school that i'm thinking about talking to! i think i heard that she struggles with anxiety, and she's been having a tough time making friends at school. the thing is, i also have anxiety, so it's going to be extra difficult for us to become friends, but i'll try my hardest because i know she's pretty lonely, and the other kids at school haven't been very kind to her.
thinking about that stuff made me realise that i've been so "out of practice", so to speak, with actually talking to people? i mean, i talk to my family... argueably too much... but i haven't actively tried to make friends with anyone my age in, what, two years? i'm also a weird freak who loves HTML, and old cameras from the 2000's, and albums with less that 1,000 views on YouTube, so i have no clue what to say to people who aren't into those things (a.k.a. the majority of people). i mean, i spoke to some kid visiting my school yesterday about HTML and he seemed really interested in learning it, but that's just one person that i'm probably not going to talk to very much...
maybe i'm overthinking everything, maybe i should just say hello to the new girl instead of developing an elaborate plan... oh well. i'll see how it all goes!!

as always, i've been working on a lot of music recently! i'm working on two radically different albums alongside the ever-expanding Static Mosaic OST, and i'm diving headfirst into doing covers of songs, too!! i've done a pretty cute cover of "Summer In The Pool" by cyclon86, but it's more based on the cover that Sonic Coaster Pop did of it, so it's more a "cover of a cover", huh? well, my version isn't the best, but i'm still pretty happy with it, and i'm excited to release it sometime :)

i've also discovered an awesome online retro camera store!! because i live in new zealand, it's either really expensive or just impossible to purchase stuff like old cameras online, but this store (which is based in new zealand, by the way) looks promising! i think i'll order a mini DV tape from it when i have the money, because the actual price and the shipping aren't too bad! i do already have one, but it has footage on it that's older than i am, so i don't feel great about taping over it.
the summer holidays are nearing very quickly, so ive prepped my Panasonic LUMIX DMC-LS80 camera so i can take plenty of photos!!! i got a 16gb SD card a long time ago, and i transferred all of the photos on it to a USB stick, so it's pretty much empty, and i'm planning to get some rechargeable AA batteries, too. while i did test this camera out a while ago, and it had pretty decent battery life, i had somehow told myself that its battery life wasn't very good, and that it went through AA's like crazy, but that really isn't the case. if i'm wanting to go on a very long photographing escapade, then i'll probably just take some spare batteries until i can get some rechargeable ones.

anyway, i've realised that it's really fun to use old photo and video cameras!!!! it's all about holding onto sort of obsolete technology instead of buying new stuff, even if they can sometimes be a hassle to use, or your photos or videos are lower quality. it's just cool!

29/11/2023

hiii!!! i just finished playing thru Sonic CD with my mum, and wow does it feel sick and twisted to play it on any display bigger than my switch lite screen!! it didn't help that i got stuck in the bad future version of wacky workbench for what felt like an eternity!!!! still love that game, though, its one of my favourite games of all time :)

a cute outfit i put 2gether 2 visit the second-hand store :3

i went 2 the second-hand store in the weekend, and we actually found a VHS player there! we brought it home, though, and it seemed like it had been dropped a few times because the interior was all bent, n it chewed up the tape we tried playing in it, so we'll be returning it sometime later... sad...
not all was lost, though, because I found a seemingly unopened container of 25 blank CDs!! & it was super awesome because i was actually running low on blank CDs, after realising that our computer could burn disks. vry excited to put together more mix CDs in the future :D also seems like there's always a weird lil DVD player for sale at that store, and while im happy with the one i own, if it ever breaks, i'll know where to purchase a new one lolz!

i actually did find some rechargeable batteries & a charger, so i've been using my cute lil camera a lot more!! ive been going on walks with my family recently, n ive been bringing my camera with me n taking lots of pictures!!! because nature kinda rocks :) 2day i got some pics of a cute lil bird, n there's been a lot of foxgloves popping up near my house, so i got lots of pics of them, too. weird how their reputation for being poisonous sort of supersedes just how pretty they are, huh?

uhh well also i finished a big assignment thats been haunting me for probably months, and it feels like a big barrier that was blocking my vision has been lifted, n now im thinking about all of the personal writing and other projects ill be able to do over the summer! thinking about setting up a page where i do tiny lil updates each day of the summer, n i include a picture i take each day with my camera!! could be cute, so i think ill start coding it once i finish this diary entry. also, i hope to be able to write and draw more for Static Mosaic, since ive kinda been neglecting it. if its going 2 get updates this infrequently, its probably going 2 take me years 2 finish it, but im happy with the lil world ive created, so thats fine. so... staaaay tuned!!! :)

20/12/2023

greetings!! i realise i dont update this as often as i probably should, but i also doubt i'll have much to say over the summer holidays anyway... holidays tend to be pretty boring for me. over the past week or so i've been feeling really tired and awful, partly because i'm spending far too much time on screens (because there isn't much else to do) and also getting far less sleep than i usually do because of the heat. the only upside to this is, as you would know if you check my website's updates often, that i've been having more dreams, which is always cool!! i seem to be having one, like, EVERY night, and a lot of them have been quite vivid, so i'm sorta nervously excited for any more dreams i might have over the summer, as i'm not really scared of having nightmares. (i haven't had one in a long time, if at all)

since late september my iphone's case has been sorta broken, but just this evening the back of it just... fell off when i went to pick it up, so i've promptly replaced it with an old case i had. this case, however, is UGLY, so i covered it in cute stickers, and even made a little charm for it with some pink beads i had lying around. i would have wanted to purchase a new phone case that was a bit cuter, but since it's absolutely impossible to purchase phone cases for older models of iphones (i don't get why they make every one a different size, man!) i didn't even bother looking. also, i barely use my iphone other than to play Pokemon GO or Hello Sweet Days, so i didn't really WANT to spend any money on it in the first place, LOL!

i've been steadily working on a BIG story since early november, and im thinking about sharing it on my website if i dont run out of steam and ACTUALLY finish it. (RIP to The Dragon's Slumber, Marshmallow Adventures, For Two Days We Have Everything, and many, many more stories of mine that i left unfinished) unlike a lot of other stories of mine, though, this one takes place in a setting that's far more familiar to me, and its premise isn't incredibly ambitious; it's just about city girls who love cute fashion and also might be lesbians!
i'm planning on making artwork for each chapter, which is a LOT of drawings of cute girls for one person to do, so this story is probably going to hurt my hands. i don't really mind, though!

i'm planning on releasing another album early next year, which is exciting!! probably some of my best work yet, with melodies and sounds that im really proud of. there are two covers of video game songs, but it also contains another cover, with vocals, (by me!) that i'm very happy with despite being badly edited and stuff. so get excited!!

21/12/2023

in direct contrast to my last diary entry, 2day has been nice!! well, the morning sort of sucked... but then in the middle of the day we went to visit the second-hand store that's closest to our house, n i got some nice stuff!!!

spotted a cute n simple lil button necklace! i'm finding that i'm a big fan of cute things that give off that handmade, arts-and-crafts feeling, plus i like the colour red and i didn't already have any cute necklaces in that colour.

i found some very pretty butterfly wall decorations, too! reminds me of the types of decorations that my grandma would have up in the room where i would stay whenever we visited. the butterflies did not have anything to actually attach them to the walls, so they're haphazardly being held up with blu-tack for the moment.

when we were purchasing the stuff we'd found there, i spotted this pretty lil clock on a shelf, and i HAD to get it!! turns out that it's rlly difficult to open it up and replace the batteries--i haven't yet figured out how to do it--but if turns out that it doesn't work, i'll still be using it as a cute decoration on my dressing table. i just think old ceramic stuff is cool, and the roses give it that distincly cute, vintage look that i adore :)

i'm always on the lookout for cute clothing, especially at op-shops, because fashion for people my age is so BORING right now!!!! so i also got a cute little blue top with flower details on it, but it turns out that it's MASSIVE, so my mum's going 2 take it in a bit with her sewing machine sometime so that it fits me a bit better!! plus, speaking of sewing, we found a little book with all sorts of cutesy sewing projects, some of which i might try out over the summer!

ok, enough about the things i've bought 2day, since my diary entries always seem 2 revolve around that. i tidied my room a lil while ago, & it's just so fun having a neat room, man!! how did i spend so much of my childhood with a room whose floor was always obscured by toys?! making my bed every morning has been so beneficial to my mental health, too; it's the biggest piece of furniture in my room, so of course it makes the entire room look messy even when it's the only thing there that is. i've been tying my curtains open with little pink ribbons, and i love the sound of the birds outside, so it's lovely that it's been warm enough to keep my window open all day! i just have so much love in my heart for the simple things at the moment, don't mind me.

i might try to work on more shrines i have planned. i quickly made one today for this hyperspecific type of old-web doll that i've been obsessed with, and i'm planning on making JUST a shrine for Sonic '06 instead of the entire Sonic The Hedgehog franchise, because god DAMN are there a lot of games and shows that i like in that series, and i have far too much to say about each one. at least a Sonic '06 shrine would be interesting to read if you were, say, somebody who didn't like it. i have a lot 2 say about every topic i'm planning to make a shrine for on my site, so it's going 2 take a bit before they start popping up. just thinking about how many archived webpages i'll have to look through for graphics for the Sonic '06 shrine is making me a bit dizzy, though...

27/12/2023

i'm still beating myself up about the fact that i didnt write a diary entry on christmas day... anywho, it was nice! we just stayed at home and played darts n stuff. money's been a lil tight, so a lot of the gifts i recieved from my family were small n silly, (in a good way) and it was fun opening stuff and just laughing at it. some highlights were actually a really nice desk chair that my parents got me, (SO much better than sitting at my desk in a dining chair!) and a cheap lil keyboard with some fun instrument sounds, so i'm looking forward to using it in some songs!!
i got some money from other relatives, so today i bought Samba De Amigo: Party Central!!!! SUPER cute game, even if i only play the sega video game music because i think normal music is lame!!! but yeah, i've been enraptured by how this game looks from the moment it was anounced months ago, and i think it's very much worth the fifty dollars i spent on it. my arms r going 2 hurt tomorrow :D

we went on a hike earlier 2day, n i had a great time!! sometimes i just forget that nature is as lovely as it is, so it was a shame that, while i DID bring my camera, i forgot to put the SD card back in it before we left... maaaan... but we saw some lil dragonflies n a pretty blue mushroom, which was vry cool!!

i rearranged some of the furniture in my room yesterday, n while i'm still not sure if i like it all that much, i think i was in need of some change. i haven't been feeling all too well lately, n i haven't been getting much sleep, so my mum's suggesting that i do all sorts of things, and that was one of them. she's bought me, like, frozen blueberries & yoghurt to eat over the next few days, stuff like that. it makes me kinda worried...

helloooooo!!! been putting this off once again, but that's fine, i think.

first thing's first: i've started a tiny vegetable garden!! i'm growing sweet basil, silverbeet, and... "mesclun (french salad mixed)"? i've wanted to start a little garden for quite a while now - i think taking care of plants is really fun n cute - so i'm glad i found the motivation today to set it all up. i immediately decorated it with little labels and signs, and put down some tiny furniture for any fairies who come to check it out!!
aside from that, i also received an italian oyster mushroom growing kit for christmas, and maybe a week and a bit ago i started that. mushrooms grow SO fast, and they look so creepy while they're growing!! waaaaa! but a few days ago they seemed fully grown, so my mum helped me with frying them up in butter and garlic, and we had them with fish burgers for dinner. they were very yummy, i love mushrooms!
a while ago i realised that i suddenly liked eating eggs, so i've been trying out cooking eggs in a few different ways, since almost my entire life has been spent avoiding eggs. LOL! i eat omelettes sorta often now, because they're really easy to cook, and i know what they look like when they're finished cooking, etc. i think next i'm going to try to make a fried egg, since they seem even easier! knowing me, though, i'll definitely find a way to screw it up. oh, well!

i spent a good few hours this afternoon playing LittleBigPlanet 3 after not touching it for years, n i was pleasantly surprised by how much better it feels to play now that i've memorised the button layout of a PS4 controller!! thanks PaRappa The Rapper 2, my time with you has payed off. i found it interesting how much LittleBigPlanet 3 really speaks to the part of me that loves stuff like arts & crafts, or collages, or even sewing. i wish more games gave you the ability to place down stickers wherever you want in levels, too!!

i'm vry excited because in a few days my family n i will be going 2 christchurch for my mum's birthday!!! while riccarton mall is on our to-do list for sure, which maybe means i can play taiko no tatsujin again, i'm most excited to go to spotlight! i've really had the sewing itch lately, but we have barely any spare fabric (& most of it is pretty ugly...) so i'm glad i'll finally be able to get some nice fabric very soon! i'm wanting to make a little totebag or 2 because it's mainly just rectangles, n i have a real lack of larger bags. i basically only have tiny children's purses & big backpacks lmao!
ok bye!!!!

16/1/2024

hey hey!! i've been waiting to write a diary entry all about what i did yesterday since, well... yesterday!
after months of yearning for the best anime golf MMO in the world, i finally got Pangya Debug running on my computer!!!! yippee!! while it was a pain to set up, actually playing it was so much better than i ever imagined! i immediately made Kooh an ugly shadow t-shirt (pictured on the left) and played, like, 18 holes on Ice Spa. absolute bliss. i was actually super surprised that it ran so smoothly (in fullscreen, i might add) on my computer, which is, i'm reminding you, a school PC from the mid-2000's i got for free from my digital technology teacher!
i just wish i had people to play online with on Pangya Debug! hit me up on my neocities profile or over e-mail if you're interested in playing anime golf with me!! i've seen how fun online stuff is in Pangya, looks like it rocks!!

i also downloaded Animal Jam Classic again, but i'm not sure how regularly i'll be logging in, because even though it runs better than it ever has on any of my devices since i first played in 2016, it just feels like it's kinda dying... like, i still enjoy the minigames, and there's still an abundance of stuff to do and items to buy, but it doesn't feel as happy as i remember!

i've been struggling with even starting my PaRappa The Rapper, Melting Holidays, OR Sonic '06 shrines. maybe it's because i love them so much that it's exhausting trying to pack everything i love into one page? at the same time, Kidorikko has been my favourite band for a very long time, and i have a lot to say about them, but i went with a far more fact-based style of writing for Minyo Minyo Power instead of really talking about everything i love about their music... that being said, it was more to get other people interested in them, and i know that at least Sonic '06 and PaRappa The Rapper aren't obscure enough for me to go with that style, and Melting Holidays doesn't have the type of Kidorikko-like history for me to document. i promise i've been trying to start these, at least!

i've also been working on a few songs with original lyrics (which i've never done before!!!!) and it's been a really interesting experience. honestly, i'm really, REALLY bad at writing lyrics, which is a bit weird because i love writing poems, and i think i'm at least kinda decent at that. guess putting words to rhythm or notes feels really alien to me. well, bad art is better than art that people didn't care about while they were making it, and i care a whole lot about the music i make. i think!
i also listen to primarily japanese music (there are probably, like, five american bands i like LMAO) so i don't really understand how lyrics in english really... work?? (and i obviously can't write lyrics in japanese, i feel like that would end badly) it's been a real problem for me for a while, but i have a ridiculously difficult time branching out when it comes to music... that being said, i like getting reccomendations (wink, wink!)

19/1/2024

so, as mentioned in previous diary entries, yesterday i went on a holiday to christchurch with my family for my mum's birthday!! it was really lovely.
the first day was mostly driving, though for dinner we went to a really nice teppanyaki place that my mum had booked us spots at prior. we'd never been to anywhere remotely similar, so it was really interesting!! we ate SO much food - i was surprised by how much i had - and i tried "plum coke", which was probably just coca cola with some sort of plum syrup in it (very good nonetheless).
our chef was really nice, at one time making the grill burst into flames, and another cutting up bits of egg for people to catch in their mouths. they also looked cool - they had a septum piercing!
today, my mum and i went to spotlight!!! yay! she got some fabric for some dresses she's going to make, and i got a ladybug-patterned fabric for the tote bag i'm going to sew, and some nice red tartan for a skirt!! we were in a bit of a rush, so i didn't have much time to look around the store, but that's okay.
afterwards we went to riccarton mall. thankfully i had the idea to bring my headphones, because that place was still as loud and overwhelming as ever! really, i have to make a habit of bringing along earplugs or headphones to places like that. it makes so much of a difference!
i did not visit timezone riccarton, but i did have some money to buy stuff with, so we went to EB games and i picked up a very cute cream the rabbit toy. that EB games almost never has sonic the hedgehog stuff (sonic seems weirdly unpopular in NZ) but they definitely had more than last time!
we also visited some random clothing store and my mum got me a cute floral dress and an awesome oversized hello kitty t-shirt!! seriously, it the biggest shirt that i own and i love it dearly already.
we then visited JB hi-fi, and... y'know, maybe it wasn't the best idea to spend $60 on two bikini kill CDs, but i had a prezzy card to spend and they were a band i recognised, so i got 'em! i really need to get more batteries for my CD player, though; the thing runs on eight C batteries, (and it's from japan, i think, so i can't plug it into the wall) and only now, over a year after i first got it, have those batteries ran out. sad.
anyway, the drive back home this evening was a nightmare!! due to an extreme weather event, people online were talking about closing the roads, so we had to make it back home by around 6:30 in order to get past that. i think everyone in the car was stressing out, but i listened to Beyond The Fleeting Gales, which made me feel a bit better. but it's so crazy how it was, like, 34 degrees in christchurch, and yet back home, the roads are flooding! currently!!

17/2/2024

it's actually been a bit, huh? i've been thinking about writing in here for a good long while, but i kept putting it off, then school started... so a lot has happened!
since planting my little vegetable garden, i've been having fun taking care of it. a day or two after getting home from the christchurch trip, i ordered a copy of mort garson's "mother earth's plantasia" on CD from jb hi-fi (to play for my plants), and it got here super quickly! i've always thought it was such a cute concept, and i'd love to find more gimmicky albums like it.

for school, which started on the 1st (which was a thursday)... the first two days were incredibly stressful, like stomach-pains-and-trouble-breathing stressful! reason being i was put up an extra year because i'm just that smart, but the year that i am now a part of is full of people who absolutely despise me!! now, though, i've been feeling alright, and i am finding little ways to get back at them...
on Waitangi day i spent a few hours sewing a super cute messenger bag, with my mum's help, with the fabric i got from spotlight!! i thought a tote bag would be kinda boring, and i can use a messenger bag for school anyway. so yeah, it turned out super adorable!!! i think i neglected to explain why i got the ladybug fabric in particular for it, but it's simple: "Ladybug" is one of my favourite Melting Holdays songs! theyre also just super cute, i need more ladybug-themed stuff.
i also took out the book "Making Music In New Zealand" by Gareth Shute from the school library, and have been slowly making my way through it. that book rocks! i thought it would have only a small amount of stuff in it, but it's filled to the brim with information about all aspects of being a local musician! i was considering hunting down a copy of it to own actually, but it seems a little old, so i'm not sure i'd be able to find it online...
for a very long time i've remained completely friendless at school - it's not my fault, it's a tiny rural school full of stupid people with completely backwards views of the world! - so my mum and i are planning to sort out a way that i can go to a little place that's sorta nearby, they do all sorts of art stuff and it's run by people close to my age, actually, and it would be for two hours a fortnight, so i can make some friends!! i won't say what it's called because i could doxx myself or something, idk, but it seems super cool, and i'm excited at the idea that it might happen soon! i'm a very lonely person...

with school stuff out of the way, i'll circle back to music!! i released a new ep on valentine's day, and it's already gotten quite a bit of attention! (by that i mean it currently has 94 views, but it's a lot for me!) i really liked it myself, it's full of songs that use samples and stuff, and it's a lot more cute than my older stuff. the final track was an original vocal song, the first one i've uploaded to youtube, and the second vocal song i've uploaded in general, after my cover of Summer In The Pool! it's exciting posting songs with my own singing in them, even if they're terrible like the song in my new ep. i'm having fun with my music!

22/3/2024

hey there!! yesterday was my birthday, and while it was pretty chill, i enjoyed it! i was having a really difficult time figuring out what i wanted for my birthday, so i just settled on two pairs of Hot Chocolate Design shoes, "Mariquitas" (because i love ladybugs SO much!!) and "Kitschy Friends (Blue)", the latter of which was 50% off because they only had one pair left... which happened to be in my size!! i've had my eye on Kitschy Friends for a while, and while my pair arrived kinda grubby and misshapen, (they WERE on clearance after all!) i'm still so happy with them!
during the day, a lot of my teachers wished me happy birthday, which made me very happy, and as always i appreciated all of the little happy birthday messages i got on neocities, too!
then i had pizza for dinner, which was pretty nice! i think we have quite a bit left over, i should have some for breakfast tomorrow...

today has been okay. i signed up for my school's "Students Against Dangerous Driving" group, where we promote safe driving, because dangerous driving is a real issue in new zealand. while i don't think it's particularly meaningful work, it gives me something to do on friday afternoons, so whatever!
school has been real stressful lately, as i've just finished a science assessment and am working towards starting an english assessment, but i'm managing, and i know i'll be okay. bullying hasn't really been much of an issue over the past week or two, i guess the kids in my class care more about feeding their nicoteine addictions than they do bullying me, which is fine i guess. i've been trying to be a bit more cheerful in school, and one kid thought my ipod nano was cool, but i haven't made any friends or anything.
but yeah that's all!

20/4/2024

hello!! just finished doing some Major Minor's Majestic March fanart because the amount of hate that game gets makes me so mad!! but yeah, expect some digital MMMM fanart at some point because i'm an insane person.

so, Armageddon 2024! for my first ever con experience, it was wonderful!! i cosplayed as Lammy (Um Jammer Lammy) for both days, and while i was sure it would get uncomfortable, i was so happy that i didn't even notice that my wig was hurting my head or whatever. i love cosplaying in general, but when i'm surrounded by other people who are also cosplaying, it's such a lovely experience!
i'm also happy that i didn't have to wear my headphones!! when i'm walking around, like, say, riccarton mall, it's such a huge and noisy place and there are so many people around that i have to wear headphones to even function. that was not the case at Armageddon, though! i guess i was just so happy to be there, surrounded by people who are just as excited (and not to mention nerdy) as i am, that i was a-okay!
i love so many characters from niche games or franchises, and so i did not expect anyone to recognise just who i was cosplaying as, but there was ONE person who did! i was walking down the stairs when he said to me, "You're... PaRappa The Rapper." and i was so happy in the moment that i thought, "eh, close enough", so i said yes.

i did not end up buying much - i've found that i'm a bit TOO careful with my money sometimes, and i would have purchased more stuff if i was feeling a bit more comfortable - but i did pick up two things.
the first was... oh god, yeah i bought an Amy Rose funko pop... i'd kinda made a subconscious promise to myself a while ago that i wouldn't buy anything funko because their products are really low-quality, (and just so hecking UGLY!!) but also, when your girl sees anything Amy Rose for sale in the wild, i kinda have to get it!! so i did. i think she looks nice enough. one day i might paint on eye-shines and mouth because i kinda hate how soulless she looks at present, but eh.
the second item i bought was actually far more exciting. so i have this (thankfull very small) list of bad video games that i want to own physical copies of because i find them to be particularly iconic or funny or weird, or what have you. i own Balan Wonderworld and Shadow The Hedgehog already, but there are three other ones i've been trying to hunt down, those being Sonic '06, Major Minor's Majestic March, and Ruff Trigger: The Vanocore Conspiracy.
on the second floor of the place Armageddon was being held at, there were quite a few stalls that sold mainly second-hand stuff, (as well as brand-new merch, but there was far more old stuff there). so i recognised VHS copies of Dominion Tank Police and Urotsukidoji (don't worry, i have no plans to watch that one, just wanted to point it out because it felt like seeing a cryptid lmao!!) but the stall that caught my eye was one that was selling a whole heap of old games, of course!! and i was sure i would find a copy of Sonic '06 there because it sold pretty well back in the day, and so there was a chance i would find it. also, i'd seen copies of Major Minor's Majestic March being listed on trademe before, so maybe if i was lucky i would find it there, too.
i didn't find either, however right after telling the guys running the stall that i was a fan of bad games, i found a copy of Ruff Trigger!!! and i was freaking out, i felt so lucky. i was probably the most happy anyone's ever been to find a copy of Ruff Trigger, and even my mum was surprised at my reaction. i wasn't sure if i would spend $25 on this game, as that was the price on the sticker, but because it was the second day of Armageddon, everything at that stall was 50% off, so i ended up getting it for only $12.50!!! the guy even offered to let me have a copy of Shogun's Blade for free, however i had never heard of the game in my life, so i declined. but yeah, thank you to "The AV Club"!

on thursday my family and i also went into town, and while it was a pretty disappointing experience overall, we still had some fun! i found a DVD copy of Barbie And The Three Musketeers at a second-hand store, and while i hadn't watched it before, i like collecting trashy girly movies, so i got it. i was actually pleasantly surprised by it, i think it's really cool!! reminded me of the fact that Barbie is genuinely a cool protagonist in these movies, like, there's a scene where she's in this hot air balloon with the prince (who she had slowly been developing feelings for) but when he laughs at her and tells her that girls can't be musketeers, she doesn't agree with him in hopes that he'll like her, she instead yells at him for being sexist!! it's brilliant!! also, watching SnapCube's 7-hour-long Sonic and The Black Knight playthrough earlier in the day actually got me interested in swords and stuff, so that rocks!
we also went to the warehouse, and so i bought another gen-1 pony, this time it was Posey! this specific warehouse seems to only sell a certain line of earth ponies when there are so many more out there. while she's probably my favourite in this line of earth ponies specifically, (because i actually really love the colour red, hehe!) Cherries Jubilee is the most elusive of the bunch, and i haven't been able to find her anywhere!! but i'm happy having two gen-1 ponies, i think they're super cute :) oh, we also went to this great fish and chips shop for lunch! it's super cute; incredibly small, but so full of heart. my brother wanted me to see it because they also have a Daytona USA arcade machine there. we played two races, and it was super fun!! very simple game, but i go crazy for old arcade games, especially if they're by sega.
also, the food there is great! one scoop of chips was SO MUCH!! and y'know, sometimes it's enriching for the soul to eat copious amounts of salt once in a while.
