One would expect the community library to be absolutely full on a rainy day, but lightning has a habit of driving off all but the determined. Luckily, Silver is rather known for his bizarre determination. Also Espio is with him. The chameleon follows the hedgehog, hand in hand, through the strangely heavy front doors as Silver rambles on about how much he loves HTML (A bit too energetically for being in a library, but there aren't many other people around for him to disrupt anyway). Espio doesn't mind in the slightest, calmy appreciating Silver's enthusiasm, and just being glad that he's not feeling miserable and directionless right now. "The internet is just SO COOL, y'know?" Silver says, grinning. "I suppose it is." Espio says, "In the future, the internet doesn't really exist anymore, correct?" "Yeah, it's complicated." Silver explains, "But while I'm here and now, I've been making the most of it!" Once the two have made their way over to the library computer - an ancient, grandfatherly old thing, whose big, white keyboard is missing several keys - Silver sits down in the brown swivelling chair, opening the (most likely outdated) internet browser and typing in a bafflingly long URL surprisingly quickly. Espio peers over his shoulder, listening to the computer's loud fan. Silver laughs, "This might take a bit." He sympathetically pats the top of the 4:3 monitor as it finally displays the webpage. It's a very simple page, with white, centre-aligned text against a repeating background of a starry sky. At the top, a big header reads, "SILVERZ SPACE!!" "It's with a Z, so it's cooler." Silver explains rather seriously. This page seems to serve as Silver's "about" page, where he talks a good bit about himself, and his main interest: gardening. It's complete with low-res, dithered photographs of vegetable plants. Scrolling down a bit more, there's a section with colourful little drawings of some of his friends, and short paragraphs on why they're so neat. The drawings are very shaky and rushed, clearly drawn using a mouse, but the page is incredibly charming nonetheless. "Hey, why is Lanolin on here, and yet I'm not?" Espio teases. "Oh, don't you worry!" Silver says. He scrolls down and clicks a link saying "FOR ESPIO!!!!". The page that loads next has a purple background, and a little drawing of Espio in the centre. Above it, Espio's name is spelt out using letters on spinning heart GIFs, and below it is the text, "you're so cool!!!! :D" Espio laughs as Silver proudly shows it to him. "Do you like it?" Silver asks him, hopping up and down in his seat. "Yes, of course." Espio smiles, saying, "I love it." "I can teach you some HTML, if you want!" Silver offers, "It's not as scary as people think it is." "I'd like that." Espio says. And the two spend the rest of the afternoon in front of the library computer, happily discussing stylesheets and images and divs.
