Who are Peony and Lemon-Meringue? These little creeps are some (but not all) of my characters that I made in Sonic Forces!! Which was my first Sonic game, and one that I still quite like and play every once in a while. Due to the limitations of the character creator in the game, how I draw these two are pretty different to how they look in-game.

Peony Wolf was the first character I made in the game. "Warcrimes The Wolf" was originally his name, maybe because of how strange he looks? I don't know. Then I realised I cared a lot more about him than I originally thought I did, and the name "Warcrimes" is really bad and not funny. It took me a while to think of a new name, but the name I settled on, "Peony", is a pretty name for a pretty guy!!
Peony's a strange dude - he's fairly quiet, kinda anxious, always staring at stuff with his wide, round eyes. He's kinda like me in that regard, haha! I think he signifies the struggles I have with expressing emotions with a face that doesn't ever seem to align with those emotions. (I have some problems, but you already know that. You're looking at a page for my OCs who originated from Sonic Forces!)
Lemon-Meringue The Hare was the third character I made, and she was originally meant to be a cutesy, kind character. Her name used to be "Lemon The Rabbit", but I thought that there really aren't enough hares in the Sonic series, so I revamped her design, making her a bit taller than most other characters, as well as a bit meaner-looking, to reflect her species better.
Of course, Lemon is a good person. I'd say she's got some Surge energy, but she's obviously a whole lot nicer than Surge! Just kinda brash and unpredictable, taking things head-on. She acts as a sort of older sister to Peony, though the two are obviously not related.
If you'd like to play as either Peony or Lemon-Meringue in Sonic Forces, below are some instructions I've put together, so you can get them just right!

(Please note that Lemon-Meringue's voice was originally Type 1, however I feel like Type 3 matches her personality more. But honestly, it's your choice! I don't really mind.)
It takes a lot of effort to unlock their outfits, though. For Peony, the requirements are shown below:
- Hair Bow (Pink): S-Rank Stage EX-1
- Large Bow Gloves (Pink): Clear Stage 6
- Ribbon Heels (Pink): Defeat 5 enemies in a row with an Asteroid Wispon in an Avatar stage (Asteroid Challenge Mission #3)
- Ribbon Dress (Pink): S-Rank Stage 29
For Lemon-Meringue's outfit, you need to get all three gold medals (Or "Third Honors") for any rabbit avatar, which takes a LOT of grinding. But doing so gives you:
- Hair Bow (Black)
- Heterochromia Eye Contacts (Yellow/Cyan)
- Large Bow Gloves (Black)
- Ribbon Heels (Black)
- Ribbon Dress (Black)
Their little communicator mics are already unlocked when you begin the game, and they're totally optional. I just think they add a bit more to their outfits, and they're both in the resistance - you need a way to communicate, after all!
Thank you to the creators of this GameBanana forum thread and this GameFaqs guide for providing information on how to get these items! There are over 700 clothing items in the game and there still doesn't seem to be a complete guide for getting all of them, (Jeez guys, it's been nearly 7 years!!) but these definitely come reccomended nonetheless.

Lemon-Meringue The Hare and Peony Wolf try to stay calm while Phantom Ruby illusions ravage their city. Like, they're bystanders while Sonic and co are doing all the fighting! Thought it was a cool idea, and since they're both originally from Sonic Forces, it's like an alternate way of them meeting Sonic and joining the resistance!!

Here's a section for art of these two! On my main art page, you'll see some digital art I've done of them using Kidpix, however there's a whole lot more traditional stuff that has never seen the light of day up until now, so I thought I'd share it, even if it's not the best. There's a whole lot of Peony and not much Lemon, though.
